2025 STATE OF THE CITY ADDRESS

(Medicine Hat) On January 28th, Mayor Linnsie Clark provided an update on the City's progress over the past year at the annual State of the City Address. This luncheon event is put on in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Medicine Hat and the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce. The annual event had over 200 number in attendance to hear the Mayor's address and provided the business community with the opportunity to hear the progress the City has made over the past year as well as the direction for this upcoming year.

During her address, Mayor Clark reflected on regional collaboration, the intermunicipal development plan, housing, mental health and addictions, intergovernmental relations and economic development.

State of the City is a joint partnership between the Kiwanis Club of Medicine Hat and the Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce. The event began in 1987 as a special event for the Kiwanis Club, with the Chamber later partnering in 1997.

For close to 125 years, the Chamber has stood for promoting business, monitoring government and championing managed growth in the local economy.
