By completing the training, participants will:

• Discover the concrete problems which confront refugees
• See what forces people into refugee situations and the train of events that brings them to refugee camps and beyond
• Think about possible solutions to refugee problems, particularly with regards to integration within the country of asylum and repatriation to country of origin
• Adopt a more welcoming attitude towards refugees
• Interactive training including some role playing
• Please be aware that this training can evoke strong emotions and trigger reactions in participants who have experienced similar trauma or who live with PTSD
