Join us for an engaging and informative evening as Cypress County prepares for the upcoming Municipal General Election on October 20, 2025. This public forum offers businesses and residents a valuable opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for Council and to ask questions about the issues that matter most to the region.

🎤 Format: Our Forum will include candidate introductions, a moderated Q&A & debate, along with concluding remarks

Schedule:

5:30 pm - Doors Open, Meet and Greet with Candidates

6:30 pm - Forum commences

8:30 pm - Closing remarks and Departure

Due to the number of candidates and the length of time we have, the forum will not provide adequate time to ask all the questions submitted. However, you can still submit your questions, and we will provide them to all candidates following the forum, to be posted on our website as responses are received. You can submit questions using our Municipal Election Candidate Questionnaire here. 

Questions asked at the election forums will be in priority order:
1. Questions based on the policies and positions of the Chamber of Commerce 
2. Questions submitted in advance by our members, which will be prioritized in the order they are received
3. Questions submitted in advance from the general public
4. Questions submitted at the forum
