Are you a tourism operator located in Alberta? Then join Elevating Canadian Experiences for the second part of our FREE online workshop series on February 9 and 16, 2021 to help you take your business to the next level.

Back in October 2020, we delivered the first set of workshops which focused on Winter and Shoulder season development.

We now bring you the second part which will focus on:

Culinary Tourism

On February 9, 2021 | Growing Agritourism: this workshop begins with an introduction to the concept of agritourism as a subset of culinary tourism, followed by an examination of the diversified use of agricultural land through tourism-related activities that are focussed on food producing people, places, and processes. In addition to showcasing best practices in agritourism, this workshop covers agritourism experience development challenges and opportunities.

On February 16, 2021 | Partnering for Success: this workshop tackles the question of how to collaboratively harness the growth potential of culinary tourism. It covers the co-creation of value, and what this means for the development of innovative products and experiences, along with the challenges and opportunities associated with partnerships.

These FREE workshops will help you take your tourism business to the next level and hit the ground running once the Canadian economy re-opens following the end of the COVID-19 health pandemic. Workshops will take place entirely online via Zoom, so please ensure you have downloaded the application ahead of the workshop: https://zoom.us/.
