Description

The Southeast Alberta Chamber of Commerce Business Advisory Committee evaluates issues that come forward to the Chamber of Commerce from its members and works with business and government to develop and implement policies and recommendations designed to ensure Southeast Alberta provides an atmosphere that is conducive to business and sustainable community growth. We do this through:

• Issue Identification: We need to hear from our members about the issues that impact our business community and any background on the issue.
• Solution Development: We need to develop recommendations that will work towards potential solutions that can be proposed to achieve success.
• Policy feedback: We need committee feedback and ongoing work with our Chamber staff to ensure that we are identifying and working to resolve the issues brought forward.
• Policy review: If we have achieved success or the circumstances have changed, we need to review and update our recommendations to ensure they are relevant and impactful to our local business community.
