News Release: DRIVING BUSINESS FORWARD BUSINESS AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

The Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the nominees for the 2020 Chamber Business Awards. Held as a kick-off event prior to National Small Business Week, which runs from October 17-23, the annual awards provide an opportunity for Medicine Hat and Southeast Alberta to recognize the outstanding achievements of our business community. After a rigorous nomination process, our nominees have been finalized.

Driving Business Forward”, was chosen as this year’s theme to represent the business community’s courage to take the wheel. It also recognizes that a winning strategy, is not just about horsepower, but it’s having the best pit crew, knowing when to apply the brakes, hit the gas, and trusting that when it is time to accelerate all the power needed will be on hand to reach that checkered flag.

This year the Chamber will be replacing their usual gala with a hybrid celebration featuring a virtual live component as well as host locations throughout the city. Attendees will also have the ability to attend from the comfort of their own homes if they choose.

With the support of our sponsors, including Jim Pattison Broadcast Group (Event Sponsor), TD Bank (Technology Sponsor), Canadian Natural Resources Limited (Entertainment Sponsor), Brightan Financial Strategies Inc. (Chamber Partner Sponsor),  Methanex (Gold Sponsor), and Auto-Star Compusystems Inc. and Medicine Hat Brewing Company Inc.(Bronze Sponsors), the Chamber is proud to announce the businesses who were nominated in 14 categories. The winners of each category will be awarded on October 16th.
