(Medicine Hat) The Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce is bringing a large-scale professional development conference to Southern Alberta. Hosting a panel of speakers that present new concepts and ideas that Medicine Hat has never seen before. This event will not only be an amazing learning opportunity but also will attract business owners from all over the province. Officially launched with the name 'The Conference', the brand resembles the Medicine Hat Chamber of Commerce brand with three triangles symbolizing the three pillars of the Chamber, as well as the three focus areas the Conference was built around.

"In the past few years, businesses have been challenged in ways they never thought possible, even with some financial aid and program options offered, they still face a future of uncertainty. The intention with this conference is to help find the strength, passion, and drive in business ownership once again." Pamela Kunz, Director of Business Development for the Chamber of Commerce 

'The Conference' is going to feature a wide variety of speakers including topics of interest such as economic development, operational strategies, marketing, leadership, and motivation. 'The Conference' is going to be perfect for long-term business owners looking to grow their business on a wide scale. This "new to" Medicine Hat Event looks to bridge the gap of learning opportunities within an ecosystem presented to professionals within and outside of the city. 

"We have been working hard to expand our reach as an organization and restructure how we take a look at the growth of our organization as well as the community," stated Trevor Anhel, Chamber of Commerce President. "This event will not only benefit the business community but will also attract people to our city, exposing individuals to what Medicine Hat has to offer. We are pleased as an organization to connect, support, and influence our business community in a positive way."

'The Conference' will begin on Thursday, May 25th, and extend into the afternoon of Friday, May 26th.
