Description: Elevated Work Platform training course is for those who use elevated work platforms in the workplace. This training course will give you a working knowledge of the safe operation of elevated work platforms. COURSE OBJECTIVES: On completion of this course you will know: Legislation and Standards Relating to Elevated Work Platforms Employer and Employee responsibilities Elevated Work Platform Statistics Planning required to use an Elevated Work Platform Load limitations and calculations Machine specific features Personal Protective Equipment required when using an Elevated Work Platform Elevated Work Platform Stability What to expect when working at heights Elevated Work Platform system components Participant Requirement:Fall Protection is a prerequisite for this course. This course can also be taken as an OSSA course. **If you require OSSA Elevated Work Platform, then you must have OSSA Fall Protection. If you have regular Fall Protection you will be issued regular Elevated Work Platform.** Please wear steel toe books, minimum closed toe shoes. Hard hats and eye protection can be provided, but it is recommended that you bring your own.
