The Executive Director Network was formed in 2010 as a way for Executive Directors to connect, share ideas, innovations and concerns that are common to all of us. We all have confidential, job-specific information that we must of course keep private, but there are also areas of common interest that we can share and learn from one another. Eligibility for participation includes that the individual is an Executive Director (or equivalent) of a not-for-profit, is in full-time employment, employs staff and reports to a Board of Directors. Areas of focus include pandemic and emergency response, governance, changes to legislation and regulations, rising costs, insurance and audits, human resource issues, technology and innovation and other emerging issues or concerns. The frequency of meetings is typically quarterly but determined by the group.
